About Rajeswari Sainath:
A Bharatha Natyam exponent in the Classical Pandanallur style.Rajeswari Sainath has been performing for more that 3 decades. She received her training from her Guru Smt.Indira Rajan of Chennai and Rajeswari was further groomed by Mridangam Masestro Guru Karaikkudi Mani in the nuances and intricacies of Layam, under whose guidance her artistry has been scaling lofty heights as a dancer, choreographer and teacher.

Rajeswari is a performer par excellence, who is known for her strict adherence to tradition while adapting to the changing contemporary scenario. She is, at once traditional in thought and modern in outlook. With this rare blend of virtues, Rajeswari has enthralled audiences, the world over. Rajeswari has rendered recitals at several prestigious centers all over India . She has performed in several cultural centers abroad such as, Singapore , Malaysia , Brazil , Australia , London , Sweden , Germany etc. Rajeswari has given number of lecture demonstrations. Over the last decade, Rajeswari has expanded her horizons to include fusion works. These endeavors have been hugely successful and have received both critical and popular acclaim. Rajeswari has collaborated with Jazz and classical artistes from the West, including the World famous Australian Art Orchestra and has presented innovative presentations, for discerning audiences. Her performance in the celebrated Melbourne concert hall drew particular appreciation, where she danced to the live accompaniment of a 30 piece classical Jazz ensemble in the Melbourne art festival in 2003. Under the guidance of Guru Karaikkudi Mani, Rajeswari has been performing rare thematic presentations in unusual rhythm patterns (talams).. Rajeswari is the Director of the centre for performing art Sruthilaya Kendra Natarajalaya (SLKN) founded by Mridangam Maestro Guru Karaikkudi Mani. It has got its centers in India at Chennai, Hyderabad , Bangalore , Kerala and also in Australia and London . She has trained more than 500 students who inturn are spreading the culture of Bharathanatyam around the globe. She has choreographed several Ballet productions.
